The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the city.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of heroes who will branch out from the main group to begin their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the group reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them little choice but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can expect discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, streaming live on next week.
