The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
